In Aosta Valley, the international regularity motorsport event valid for the Italian Championship Grandi Eventi Auto Moderne, scheduled from today until Sunday, June 27, counts around 30 classic and GT cars. From the splendid Ferrari 296 GTS to the Simca 8 Sport, set among Alpine landscapes and dream hospitality.
La Salle (AO) 25 June 2026 - The curtain rises on the Cisalpina Classic Race Powered By Allianz Investitori SGR scheduled in Aosta Valley between today and Sunday, June 27. Among glamour, beauty of the territory and dream cars, the appointment is renewed with the prestigious international regular and touring competition, organized by Classic Paddock, valid for the ACI Sport Italian Championship Grandi Eventi Auto Moderne, Gran Turismo and Super Classica for classic cars built up to 2000.
In these hours guests are arriving at the Relais Mont Blanc & Spa where scrutineering and administrative checks are taking place, followed by the presentation dinner by the pool to kick off a weekend that represents a true experience, a fascinating unicum in the panorama of competitions reserved for classic, vintage and supersport cars. Care and attention to details are the prerogative of Classic Paddock's precious staff who, like every year, reserve an attentive and refined hospitality for the crews.
The competitive side of the race will enter its heart tomorrow, Friday 26th from 9.00 AM with the departure of Stage 1 from La Salle with a lunch stop at Les Montagnards. In the third section of the day, one of the most interesting novelties of the 2026 edition will be the timed trials on the Skiroll track of Rapy in Verrayes (AO) where competitors will have the opportunity to lap in the 2.1 km loop intended for roller skiing. The track inaugurated in 2001 is located at an altitude of just over 1000 m and is characterized by a strip of asphalt more than four meters wide presenting numerous ups and downs for a total elevation difference of about 40 m.
Saturday, June 27, at 10.00 AM the start of Stage 2 again from La Salle with a stop at the Great St Bernard. The arrival ceremony and prize-giving scheduled from 3.30 PM will be for the first time in Aosta in the exclusive setting of the Arch of Augustus, made available exclusively by the City to celebrate the arrival of the competitors of the Cisalpina Classic Race Powered By Allianz Investitori SGR.
Renewed the partnership between the race and the KIA brand, the prestigious automotive brand, sales record holder in Italy and Europe thanks to its models of high design, reliability and capable of great attention to the environment. The collaboration is materialized through Nuova AutoAlpina of the SICAV 2000 Group, official dealership and authorized KIA workshop in Aosta Valley and Canavese. A futuristic corner displaying the core models of the South Korean manufacturer will be set up in Aosta near the Arch of Augustus, Saturday 27 at the finish line. The prize-giving ceremony will be held starting from 7.30 PM in the Awards Gala Dinner at Relais Mont Blanc.
Dream cars we said: about 30 are the crews who this year did not want to miss the Alpine appointment, including 4 crews from Franciacorta Motori, namely: Gianantonio Gasparini and Giovanni Fabris in a 2024 Ferrari 296 GTS, Francesco Romano and Sabrina Caruso in a 2003 BMW X4 Cabrio, Nicola Barcella and Simone Rossoni in a 2021 Ferrari Roma, while the tough driver brothers from Lake Iseo, Oreste and Celestino Sangiovanni, will certainly feel at ease in the 1956 Porsche 356A.
As many as 5 cars are registered under the banner of Milano Classiche which is partner of the event, including the 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 S which will be driven by entrepreneur Paolo Milini with Simona Roscio, Lorenzo Carraro and Chiara Orlandi in a 1956 Triumph TR2, Claudio and Giovanna Mosconi in a 1960 Maserati 3500 GT Spider, registered among the Guest cars, together with Luigi Milini and Rita Frigeni in a 1956 Lancia Aurelia B24S and Lucia Milini with David Juan Auz Schultz who will be competing in a 2018 Porsche 911 991.2 Targa 4 GTS.
Speaking of main sponsors, among the competitors will be the chief executive officer of Allianz Investitori SGR, Pietro Scott Iovane, who will share the cockpit of a splendid Porsche Carrera 3.2 Cabrio with his son Giacomo Scott. 2 will be the crews of the Bergamo-based Club Orobico, who are Roberto Rossoni and Ramona Bernini in a 1959 Triumph TR3 and Sergio Mazzoleni and Silvia Gotti who will be competing in a 1956 Porsche Speedster.
Speaking of Porsche, to be noted are the 4 crews of the Registro Italiano Porsche 356 starting with the Sardinians Antonio Virdis and Silvia Giordo who bring to Mont Blanc the spectacular German car carrying the livery of the four Moors declaring its proud Sardinian origin, the 356 B 1600 T5 Cabrio of Brescia-based Battista Marcandelli and Vincenza Colombi, and again the Milanese Matteo Rocco Pastore, president of RIP 356, with Paola Avanza in a 1957 356 A, while the driver from Varese Maurizio Magnoni with Marisa Vanoni will be competing in a 1971 Lancia Fulvia HF.
Among the Ferraristi, eyes on Antonio Fiumanò and Mary Jo Piekarz in a 2014 Ferrari California T and Aldo Castello with Maria Teresa Pascal in a 1988 Ferrari GTS Turbo and again Massimo and Francesco Rota in a 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello.
In an agile 1972 Mini Cooper there will be Venetian journalists Dario Converso and Federica Ameglio, to be noted the female crew composed of the habitués of the Italian Championship Grandi Eventi, Vania Parolaro Fullin and Ornella Pietropaolo in the 1996 Porsche 993 4S registered with Nettuno Bologna, then again Matilde Siena and Guido Alberto Ronchi in an Autobianchi A112 Abarth 70, same A112 Abarth but 58HP is that of Trieste-based Maurizio De Marco with Susanna Serri. Another Siena, namely Gianluigi, will share the cockpit of a 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupé with Kevin Mangini.
Among the most prestigious cars also the 2018 Mercedes GT R of Varese-based Alessandro Ferrario and Ezio Netti and the '48 Simca 8 Sport of Gionata and Mattia Costante.
A weekend that will offer competitors an unforgettable memory thanks also to the precious photobook with the most beautiful snapshots of the race that the organization will donate free of charge to each crew.
